Meditation is beneficial not only for adults but also for children. Continue reading if you want your child to meditate.

It can improve concentration while also calming the child. It also has other health benefits.

For this meditation, your children must be of an age where they understand what is being said to them and can perform it correctly. And while they’re doing this, be nearby to guide them.

Sit and breath

To begin, have your child sit in a comfortable position, such as a bed, chair, or sofa. It makes no difference until your child is at ease.

Tell your child to breathe in through their nose and out through their mouth. Relax your shoulders as you exhale and concentrate on your breathing.

Attention on lower stomach

Now, tell your child that there is an ocean, a lot of fish, and beautiful plants underwater near your lower belly, so that their attention is focused on them.

Now they can return their focus to their hearts and tell them that their new chocolate sweet world is being built. Allow them to remain this way for a while.

Attention to center of head

The attention is now to be drawn from the heart to the centee of their head. So tell them to close their eyes and that there is a large butterfly and a large garden in the centre of their head.

Assume they have a small cloud on their head that is filled with rain water. Now tell them to make it as big as possible, and then tell them it’s raining watee on them right now.

Tell them to imagine water slowly flowing from their head to their toes.

Finally, tell them to imagine that the rain has stopped and the cloud has vanished, leaving only a big bright sun shining brightly on their head.

Tell them to concentrate on their breathing again and slowly open their eyes.
