Do you also face this problem of lightly pigmented eyeshadow while doing your makeup? Then keep on reading 5 easy steps to make your eyeshadow more pigmented.

Eyeshadow is a prominent feature of make-up, and it is the area where we can be the most creative. And it’s heartbreaking when we realise our eye shadow isn’t as pigmented as it should be.

Because of the formulation, powdered eyeshadow with the fallout is the least pigmented. However, following these simple steps will help you make your eyeshadow more pigmented, and your makeup will look stunning as is. So let’s get rolling.

PRIMER

A primer should be applied before applying eyeshadow as your first step in applying eye makeup. Applying primer will give you a clean, moisturised eyelid that will make the pigment in your eye shadow pop.

Apply a pea-sized amount of primer to your eyelids and gently dab it in. And you’re all set to go.

CONCEAL

If you don’t have primer or your shadow is dull, you can use concealer to cover up smudged eyelids. You can also use primer and concealer at the same time.

Applying concealer to your eyes will provide you with a clean canvas to apply your eye shadow too, as well as make the pigment in your eye shadow more bright and vibrant.

DIP YOUR BRUSH INTO WATER

This is a technique I enjoy using. After priming my eyelids, I take my fluffy brush and spray it with water before dipping it in the eyeshadow, and the pop of colour is amazing. And, guess what, there is no excess fallout as a result of this.

USE A SMALL BRUSH

Apply your eye shadow with a small brush to make it easier to apply and blend it into your eyelids to achieve your stunning look.
