Paulo Coelho uses myth to encourage all readers, which is one of my favourite genres. First, it encourages you to have a large vision, but it also reminds you that forming and pursuing one is difficult to work that will likely take you on a long road.
Second, you must observe nature to learn. The most crucial skill of an innovator, in my opinion, is observation. Observation of nature has also played an important role in technical advancement throughout history.
Futhermore, being a competent manager necessitates a grasp of human nature. Coelho emphasises in all of his writings that true inspiration comes from a quiet and calm environment.
Finally, the book brings us full circle, reminding us that we have the power to achieve our goals and that we have had it since the beginning.
You Are a Badass: How to Stop Doubting Your Greatness and Start Living an Awesome Life by Jen Sincero
Jen gives her readers simple tasks to help them recognise their self-limiting beliefs, attitudes, and habits in her book. She gives excellent advice and does so in a lighthearted manner, enthralling and motivating her audience to begin reaching the success they desire in their life.
Jen’s purpose is to assist her readers to see why they have evolved particular thought and behaviour patterns. She encourages us to concentrate on the things we can change and accept the things we can’t.
Overall, the book takes a fresh and humorous approach to encourage and motivate its readers, and it can be appreciated by anyone who picks it up.
Inkigai
The Japanese Secret to a Long and Happy Life is written by Hector Puigcerver, a native European who relocated to Japan in 2004 and fell in love with the culture. He explains how we can use ikigai to improve our lives in this book.
These are my 3 favourite lessons from his work:
- Longevity and pleasure are dependent on having a sense of purpose.
- Follow the counsel of some of the world’s oldest individuals if you wish to live a long life.
- Make sure you get enough exercise to stay healthy throughout your life.
Your ikigai might take you a short time to discover, or it could take much longer. Once you find it, however, you may realize that you never want or need to retire.
